ROBINHOOD CHAIN · UNISWAP V4
A little cat.
A whole
onchain habitat.
URCAT means “your cat,” with a wink to URC-5. Its token points to a home pool. A Uniswap v4 hook turns swaps into changing ASCII expressions. Meow.
IN DEVELOPMENT Contracts tested locally. Mainnet deployment pending.
THE LIVING CAT / ROBINHOOD CHAIN
Say hello.
Leave an onchain pawprint.
Pet, feed or play with the cat through your wallet. Each confirmed interaction updates its visual mood and leaves a transaction hash in the history. Trading activity can change its mood too.

State hash appears after deploymentThese are cosmetic interactions. Your wallet pays network gas; the interaction sends zero ETH to the cat contract and requests no token approval.

A RECORD OF EVERY MOOD CHANGE
Its mood has receipts.
Swap and interaction events form the onchain record. Open a transaction to see its hash and the state it produced.
History starts at the deployment block once configured.
- Confirmed mood changes will appear here.
01 / MEET THE CAT
There’s a face
for that feeling.
Browse all 64 complete ASCII cats, including the original four. Every drawing is encoded in the art contract, ready to travel with a reply.
Eight moods, with eight variations each. The preview below reads the same template library used by the contracts.
cat > hello human. i am happy to see you.

02 / THE NEW HOOK
How does a pool
become a cat?
A Uniswap v4 hook is a smart contract that runs at specific moments in a pool’s activity. URCAT’s hook runs after a successful swap in its official pool, advances a counter and selects one of eight moods.
The website gives that onchain state a face from a library of 64 ASCII cats. Pet, Feed and Play also update the shared mood. The latest confirmed action determines the expression you see.
Why a cat? Because a changing pool state is more fun when it purrs. URCAT makes the hook visible as a little creature you can interact with, with a transaction hash and a state hash behind each mood change. Meow.
Activity in the canonical Uniswap v4 pool reaches the cat’s hook.
The counter advances. The next ASCII face follows its mood.
Simulate a swap to change the cat in the explorer above.
This demo changes local preview state. In the contracts, neural text generation runs separately from swaps. Activity affects the artwork; the model generates the words. The hook adds no extra swap tax, and its cosmetic mood carries no financial rewards.
03 / URC-5 TOKEN VENUE POLICY
URC-5 gives
the cat a home.
URC-5 is a proposed Token Venue Policy interface. It lets a token publish its official trading pools in a form that supporting routers and websites can read.
URCAT uses Preferred mode to identify its home pool, where the cat’s hook lives. Trading elsewhere stays allowed. Swaps in the declared hooked pool drive its mood counter.
The token publishes the pool policy; the v4 hook supplies the cat’s behavior. Together they make the home pool discoverable and give its activity a face.
Read the URC-5 specification ↗- Official pool
- The token declares one canonical pool for discovery.
- Other trading venues
- Remain permitted under Preferred mode.
- Ordinary transfers
- Standard ERC-20 wallet-to-wallet transfers.
- Pool configuration
- Set once, then fixed in the current implementation.
URC-5 also defines an Enforced mode. ASCII Cat currently uses Preferred; it does not block competing pools.
04 / UNDER THE WHISKERS
A small, honest brain.
CatWords v2 predicts whole words with a fixed 224-token vocabulary and eight tokens of context. Its 29,760 learned parameters run through an integer inference contract. The art library supplies a complete cat alongside each reply.
Exact reference scores matched in local tests. This is a focused cat model with a limited vocabulary; broader conversation and long-term memory remain outside this version.
